We want to make sure that your hat is the perfect fit. Therefore, we have created a measuring guide and size chart to ensure you select the right hat size.

Steps to accurately measure your head:

Using a soft dressmaker’s tape measure, start at the front of your head just above your eyebrows and measure all the way around your head – See below images for reference
Measure in centimetres for the most accurate fit
Check our hat size chart below to work out your size
If you are visiting Emily-London in-store for your hat, or are booking our By Home Appointment Service, one of our Headwear team will be happy to measure your head for you.

UNIVERSAL SIZING
Pieces stated as having a universal fitting will fit all head sizes. Often the piece will have a wire claw/construction that will be hair coloured that will fit to your head like a hair band. The piece may also have an elastic band that sits at the back of your head underneath your hair to secure the piece in place. Alternatively the piece may be positioned on a hairband that will be a universal head size.

Please note that head sizes under 21.5inches (55cm) are considered XS and head sizes larger than 23 inches (59cm) are considered XL. If your head size is XS or XL, certain hats may incur an extra fee due to the extra work needed to make hats for such a head size.
